Carter Pope wakes cold and alone after a car accident only to discover his RV totaled and his best friend missing. His search brings him and an enigmatic stranger, Roy Roland, to Broomfield, Colorado, a small, abandoned town nestled in the snow-capped Rocky Mountains, where what remains of the population must navigate a reality slowly devolving into a madness of Eldritch horrors. What follows is an exploration of depression and grief as Carter, Roy, and the few remaining townsfolk unearth the nightmarish mystery of an ancient, otherworldly creature offering bliss in exchange for autonomy and the raw experience of life itself.
